DSC03220I am serious about generating some cash from my favorite hobby. Lately I have started heavily promoting the items I created (mostly on Facebook). I don’t feel ready yet to start listing items on Etsy because additionally to creating items, they have to be presentable. You also have to think about packaging, tagging, budgeting, etc. If you want to stay in business with all the creativity these days you need to be unique in your own way.

I have named my first collection for winter “Aba Fredi”. I am not sure how to translate it accurately in English but taken apart “aba” means against and “fredi” means cold. Unfortunately Google translate could not provide an acceptable translation so we will leave it to that. Most of the items will be bulky and the colors will be bold. In winter we tend to fall easily into wearing gray ( I love gray). Just because the cold weather makes you miserable doesn’t mean you should look like crap.

So far the plan is to create a few hats, scarves and hand warmers. I would like to spend more time concentrating on a Spring/Summer collection so this winter collection will be small.
